He probably won't see the field until after Cincy's bye week so a Week 10 return at earliest. The reason I'd bid half my FAAB to grab him is that between now and the end of the season you'e unlikely to find as high of a caliber player on the waiver wire. Might as well spend big to ensure you get him if you can afford the roster spot.

Without knowing if your league is big spenders or not it's tough to say.  I would say bid as much as you think you need to in order to ensure you get him.  If that is 49% than do that.....
