Cruz is a jackass for dogging it after the hit, should have been thrown out at third on the steal attempt and scores anyways because of the error. Texas winning right now because of some poor fielding by the Rays.

Not a big Cruz fan, he dogs it quite a bit IMO. What a horrible throw, I thought the SS had a decent chance of getting to that.

The announcers did make a comment but I agree that they've basically shrugged it off. By my very unofficial count, this is at least the 4th game in the playoffs that has had a controversial call. And by "controversial", I mean the wrong call..........

Rays are light on hitting, Rangers are light on pitching but have playoff monster Cliff Lee. I expect this series to be great, and hope I'm right. I say Rangers in 5 as Lee throws an 11 inning shutout for a 1-0 win.

Series over, congrats to Rangers on first ever series victory. Guess Bogart can finally throw away the 1996 ALDS game 1 Champions t-shirt.

Well if you believe that, its hard to bet against Cliff Lee in a Game 7 at home. The Yanks have to jump them in the first two games here, get to Wilson and Hunter, lose against Lee Game 3, probably Game 4 with AJ, win 5 with CC and empty the chamber Game 6 and win that one. Of course, I'd love to nail it down in five never leaving the BX, but the AJ start is the X-factor.I had hoped to draw Texas, but now I think this game will put a little wind in their sails, the best hope for the Yanks is a shaky Feliz and the pitching matchup advantages due to series length.

CJ can hold his own against anybody, but Hunter is definitely a weak link. Holland would be a better bet as a starter, but there's no way they would make that switch.

I agree with all of this, except it will be Colby in Game 2 not Hunter.

And that makes it "weak link vs weak link" in game 4. Bullpens better be ready for that one.
