In a dilemma this week as my only qb is on bye. I was offered this trade and just wanted a general opinion. Alex Smith for Agholar and a 3rd next rookie draft. 

I am standing at 2nd place currently and facing the current 3rd place team. 16 team IDP dynasty, TE not required.

I assume there are no viable starting QBs on the waiver wire in a 16 team league, but I don't think I would give up a draft pick for a one week rental. Is Kessler or Petty or anyone at all available?    Whats your margin in 2nd place now?  Being 2nd in 16 team doesn't sound like this week is must-win for you.  Unless there's a very thin margin between you and 6th/7th place or something, I would try to hold tight and just start anyone I could...

Agholor is completely expendable, I couldn't care less if you traded him or dropped him.

There are no other qbs available as we also have a 4 man taxi squad. Where both Kessler and petty sit on other owners squads. Last I checked the Kessler owner wanted a 2nd for him mainly due to me playing him this week. The margin between me and the 6/7 place teams is 2 games as I am 7-2 and they are 5-4.

I would do that trade without hesitation.  Smith is a high floor guy and Agholor is meh and a 3rd round pick in a 16 team league has virtually no value either.  Easy trade for me to accept.
