Alge Crumpler (1 Viewer)

Alge has been dropping very far and a lot of drafts I've seen, simply because people are afraid of Harrington and unsure the new coaching staff will have him as involved as he was with Vick and Co. Pretrino didn't use the TE much in college, but with a target like Alge you'd think they'd have to make use of him. Harrington SEEMS like he favors the WRs more than Vick obviously did....

So, with all these changes (new coach, QB, offense)....what do you expect from Alge? Is he still top 10 material? Will his numbers take a nose dive this year?

What's funny about Crumpler dropping is that the Falcons have averaged less than 2800 gross passing yards/season the last 3 seasons. Plus they ran 55-60% of the time. Not that harrington is a world beater, but he has thrown for over 3000 yards in a season before and I can guarantee you the Falcons will not run the ball nearly as much.

I almost think Crumpler should be upgraded.

I have been saying the same thing and is why I drafted Alge in the 8th, Ive said this before in posts on Alge, I think Joey will use Alge as a safety valve, Mr Old Reliable. He runs good routes. Joeys accuracy is much better than Vick and although he is by all means not going the pro bowl he will prove that the Vick experiment was a waste of time.I would not worry about his knee so much since his knee was bothering him last year too and he still produced. He has looked good in his last preseason game while concussing a guy also, ALge is ready...

People are avoiding him merely because Vick isn't in town & Vick seemed to ignore his WR's down near the G-line & lock on Crumpler. I personally think Crumpler can put up comparable numbers with Harrington. I drafted Crumper as my #2 TE in the 10th round in a 12 team redraft recently.
