All 4 Patriots RB's Likely Active Per Reiss (1 Viewer)

With all the injuries, it looks like the Pats will activate all 4 RB's for the first time tomorrow. While the carries will probably stay status quo, it'll be interesting to see how things progress.

By Mike Reiss

With the Patriots already declaring six players out for Sunday's road game against the Bills, they have just one more player to downgrade before kickoff. If all injured players play in the game, the last player to be declared inactive will likely be quarterback Ryan Mallett.

With that in mind, here is how the game-day roster would look, which foreshadows more spread formations with three receivers on offense and defensive back-laden packages on defense against the Bills' spread attack:

OFFENSE (19)

QB: Tom Brady, Brian Hoyer

RB: BenJarvus Green-Ellis, Danny Woodhead, Stevan Ridley, Shane Vereen (debut)

TE: Rob Gronkowski

WR: Wes Welker, Deion Branch, Chad Ochocinco, Julian Edelman, Matthew Slater

OL: Matt Light, Logan Mankins, Dan Connolly, Brian Waters, Nate Solder, Ryan Wendell (debut), Donald Thomas

DEFENSE (24)

DT: Vince Wilfork, Kyle Love, Landon Cohen (debut)

DE: Andre Carter, Shaun Ellis, Mark Anderson, Jermaine Cunningham

LB: Jerod Mayo, Rob Ninkovich, Gary Guyton, Dane Fletcher, Brandon Spikes, Jeff Tarpinian (debut), Tracy White

CB: Devin McCourty, Leigh Bodden, Ras-I Dowling, Kyle Arrington, Antwaun Molden, Phillip Adams (debut)

S: Sergio Brown, Josh Barrett, James Ihedigbo, Ross Ventrone (debut)

SPECIALISTS (3)

K: Stephen Gostkowski

P: Zoltan Mesko

LS: Danny Aiken

Taylor Price MIA again...this kid needs to find his way onto the field...he's intriguing but you can't do anything if you're not in uniform...

I think this is the writing on the wall for the gameplan on sunday. Ocho may be the recipient of big play action pass, but this really solidifies my opinion that we're going to see a heavy dose of running the ball as opposed to flinging it around in 3 WR sets.

 Eeep. Just saw NFL matchup and even Jaws is on the "ton of 3 WR sets" bandwagon because of the poor play of the bills corners.
