Bynes is growing up nicely. She still looks a bit young, but in the couple years she should be smokin. She does like like Cyrus, but only hot.

She reminds me way too much of my younger daughter. That being the case I have a difficult time gauging hotness.

She's attractive. I don't see the Miley Cyrus comparison however. IMO Miley suffers from the same big mouth disease that afflicts Julia Roberts.That's one big mouth you have there Julia!

She was hilarious on that show. I think it was her facial expressions that really cracked me up. Kind of like a young Lucille Ball... hot but goofy.

Really, you should know of her simply from having perused this forum. I've barely ever seen her on TV, or in anything, but I still know who she is and have liked her for years. Apparently she started her career on Nickelodeon as a child actor, though I never saw her on any of that. I never knew of her until she started in What I Like About You, a show on the WB. She co-starred in that show with Jennie Garth, who starred in Beverly Hills 90210 if you've never heard of her either. I've never seen a full episode of that WB show, but that is when I started seeing pictures of her on the Internet. She's had starring roles in a few movies. I've actually seen three of her movies on HBO at one time or another, watching them just for her. There was one where she was the lost daughter of British royalty, one where she ridiculously pretended to be a guy and one modern take on Snow White. They were all pretty bad, but she was hot. Hopefully she can get a good role in something worth seeing soon.
She was on Nick back when my boys were younger. I never paid attention to her back then and especially not in a sexual way. Then my wife switches on 'Hairspray' one day and I was like "who is that?". One of my kids says "Amanda Bynes...remember her from Nickelodeon?"ETA: Teaching middle school also exposes me to a bunch of this bubble-gummer stuff. I feel like a dork when kids have some person or band plastered all over their binder and I have to ask who it is. Of course I try to shtick it up as much as possible: "Who is that? The Bee Gees?
