Does it tell time in Gstaad?Let me know. I wore it two days so it's still pristine.Might be interested in the Mako. I missed out on the sale.Loving my Roomba thus far. Probably going to offload the Black Mako though. Too many watches already in the rotation.
In Philadelphia it's worth fifty bucks.Potentially interested as well. This was $110 on prime day, yes?Let me know. I wore it two days so it's still pristine.Might be interested in the Mako. I still cannot believe those numbers.cstu said:Michael Pachter, managing director of equity research for Wedbush, estimated Amazon took in $1.5 billion in revenue on Prime Day, versus $250 million for a typical day during the quarter.
“That means they can deliver $1.25 billion of upside by scheduling a flash sale,” he said. “There’s no reason they can’t do this once per quarter,” although he noted no announcement had been made. Prime has about 40 million subscribers.
AgreedOne of the best things about Prime Day was the deferral of 2 day delivery where you got a $5 credit toward lawn and garden purchases.
I got this bad boy for $10 off. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000950PZ?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00
Same price, but had free shipping as Prime item.

It's no coincidence that Prime Day was almost exactly 3 months from Black Friday. I expect more 'Prime Days' at the end of January and April. You may be right, but if they trot a lot of that same stuff back out again in just 90 days from now, I don't think they'll do a 6x day again.I disagree. They need enough doorbusters sprinkled in to keep people hitting F5 and scrolling through pages of overstock items.Without lots of fresh products in the next sale, I don't think they'll see that lift again. Unless they wait another year to do it.cstu said:Michael Pachter, managing director of equity research for Wedbush, estimated Amazon took in $1.5 billion in revenue on Prime Day, versus $250 million for a typical day during the quarter.
That means they can deliver $1.25 billion of upside by scheduling a flash sale, he said. Theres no reason they cant do this once per quarter, although he noted no announcement had been made. Prime has about 40 million subscribers.
That's probably why Amazon said they'd do it again next year as opposed to several times a year.
I followed along with their deals pretty much daily this past holiday from black Friday through post-Christmas and bought a few things here and there... but in the recent sale I didn't see a single thing that tempted me.

Yeah, we have a menagerie plus a baby on the way. The first two days Tombstone's dust bin was completely full of carpet fibers and pet hair. Each day it has gotten progressively less. He got stuck one night but other than that we could not be more pleased.Try one with our new roomba failed miserably...thing made it over threasholds we didn't expect and it got stuck in 2 rooms.Loving my Roomba thus far. Probably going to offload the Black Mako though. Too many watches already in the rotation.
Try two was an amazing success...my wife was raving all night about it. We just put in dark wood floors and have 2 pets and a 4 week old (so we're lacking time to clean up the hair)....with family coming to town yesterday this thing felt like a life saver.
