Wow! Welcome back.Folks - first of all HOW`AR`ALL`Y'A'LL doin'? I'm sorry I disappeared but, yaknow, Life.
I thought I might kindly, gently, politely ask the FBGs community for some suggestions on travel to:
- The Hague and/or
- Amsterdam and/or
- Bruges
I'm doing all three, conference at The Hague NL, then Beer Pilgrimage to Bruges, then more Beer in Amsterdam, DEP AMS.
This a well traveled (and well drank) community here, perhaps I can rely upon the group brain power that resides here and which can be oh so powerful when called upon Shazzam-like.
Many Thanks - SID

I got nothing. Last time I was in Amsterdam I stayed on floating hotel, shared a room with strangers and smoked hash. Good times though.
Never been but good to see you around. I wondered what happened to youFolks - first of all HOW`AR`ALL`Y'A'LL doin'? I'm sorry I disappeared but, yaknow, Life.

Highly recommend de Kas! Went there last summer thanks to McBokonon. We rented bikes for a couple days and did a tour in the city and used them for some transportation in the city as well as to the countryside to a windmill and then from there to de Kas and then back to our hotel. Got yelled at once or twice but actually felt safer from the bike traffic on a bike vs being a pedestrian. It ain't cheap but I had one of the best meal experiences of my life in Amsterdam at de Kas - book nowFolks - first of all HOW`AR`ALL`Y'A'LL doin'? We just went a year ago - did a countryside bike tour in Amsterdam (do NOT get a bike in the city. Whatever you've seen about the bike traffic on the internet is actually WORSE) but the country ride was nice. Did some touristy crap like visit a cheese farm and a windmill. Was very pleasant.
We ultimately decided on Ghent over Bruges for a few reasons. I think one of the reasons was it was closer, maybe. It was a lot of fun and not as touristy as Bruges almost certainly is.
Good to see you, bud.
Awesome! Glad you ended up enjoying de Kas! You're a braver man than me for biking in the city - no freaking thanks.Highly recommend de Kas! Went there last summer thanks to McBokonon.
