Andre Johnson vs Cortland Finnegan round 2 (1 Viewer)

Andre has to be salivating going into this matchup. I look for somewhat of a vengeance game and I look for him to explode for more points than he got last week against the Ravens. I just hope he doesnt get baited into a fist fight again. Im pretty sure he will keep himself in check still you have to wonder.

Yeah, no chance that AJ loses his cool again, no matter what. IMO, he's going to do everything in his power to let his playing do the talking for him and he lights Finnegan up like a Christmas tree.

This would be round three as they got into last year as well.

AJ's last three games vs. Tennessee

30 rec. 412 yds. 4 TD's $32,500 fines

Andre will blow him up the first legal chance he gets. (either after reception or on a block). Finnegan probably flops/complains to the ref who doesn't listen anyway.

Yup because Tennessee is not aware at all that when they throw they throw it to him, they will roll coverage especially to help Fin out (especially in this game because of the issues between Fin and Dre IMHO)So you predict 10 catches for 200 and 3 tds? Lets hope not as I play against him in all leagues.

Andre will tear up Innegan. Seriously, Andre will be mad and looking to prove something. I don't think help over the top will help Innegan out that much. Innegan's only chance is an early cheap shot that puts Andre out for the rest of the game.

Yeah, Innegan (I really like that. Aj beat the "F" out of him so his name is now Innegan..lol) will have to be careful of how HE plays against AJ because everyone is going to be looking at this one and nip it in the bud. AJ isn't going to lose his cool again so the bigger impact is that Innegan will have to not do the things he normally does do that gets under people's skin.

So, somewhere in this game, I expect AJ to blow right past Innegan and score a long TD. Tennessee may want to give help to this situation but if they do, Foster will eat them alive when he gets past the first level because he won't have the help coming in to stop the run and Daniels and AJ can both block well. The Titans will have to pick their poison on this one but I doubt they change things up that much.

Every team that's played the Texans all year know AJ is the best WR in the game and roll coverages, help out over the top, etc. That would certainly not be a new way to try to defend him. The fact that Johnson keeps putting up the kind of numbers he does is a tribute to what kind of talent he is, and the fact that he's been doing it all season on one good leg is nothing short of amazing. I know the term "beast" is overused, but if there's only one player in the NFL you could apply it to, I think AJ would be the hands down winner of that vote. I agree that the incident two weeks ago will only serve as addtional motivation for AJ to beat Finnegan like a rented mule, and I don't mean with his fists this time.

I don't think Finnegan will be able to get away with shots to the face the entire game like last time. I couldn't believe you got a league superstar and you let a chump blatantly smash him in the grill play after play.

That should help AJ get off the line even better. And then there's the sleeping giant factor. You know AJ has this one penciled on his calendar.
