This is controversial prediction in fantasy circles, but I think that Andy Dalton (and even Bruce Gradkowski) in Who-Dey Land could be shocking some NFL experts by October.
They wont be pretty and possibly not conventional, especially since Dalton will start as a rookie with his share of mistakes and turn overs, but he has a chance to make people forget about Carson Palmer very quickly because of what I think are the intangibles that they haven't had in Cincy since Jeff Blake. While AJ Green and Chad Simpson are not going to be top rated fantasy WRs, on talent, playing time, easy early schedule and situation could make for excellent late round picks and very start-able bye week fillers. One of them should hit the 1,000 yard and both should have 5 -7 Tds depending on how things take shape.
Do your homework on Dalton and I think you'll like what you see. Ignore week 1 of hte preseason as it rarely matters.
And the biggest news is the schedule: weeks 1-6 = CLE, SF, DEN, BUF, JAX, IND.
That gives them time to iron out wrinkles and gain confidence.
Wild predictions can backfire but I've already made a trade for Jerome Simpson.
