Three people were shot. Another man who was shot at returned fire with his own handgun and struck Thompson in the leg, he said.

Or maybe because it's just the "normal" drunken shootout that we've been conditioned to accept because it happens all the time? Dog bites man doesn't qualify for a headline on the network nightly news.

- no one died

- on 4 people were injired

- motive was an argument - not race, religion or something similar 

- it was South Carolina

I am not sure I would want to hold up, as an example of the utility of personal carry, someone who was outside a drinking establishment at closing time.  Yes it appears he hit the assailant, and no I have no way of knowing whether he had been drinking, but it seems to me, when the facts more fully develop that there is a possibility the hero of this little vignette may have been drinking, may have been a provocateur, and may have also been firing towards innocents.  I like my heroes to come with less questions.

This sounds like a near weekly event in Detroit. Shooting outside of a nightclub. Typical American big city event.

One of the video games I used to play like crazy on the original Playstation was NFL Blitz.  Blitz had a lot of different codes you could enter - make it snow during the game, give yourself more time on the play clock, that sort of thing.

One of the codes was "All Bobo".  It named all your players Bobo.  So Bobo would block for Bobo to pass to Bobo, who could lateral to Bobo for the TD.  I used to use that code constantly.

Not that I was aware of.  For the most part I have avoided the political debate. You will not find me in those threads.  I believe that neither Mrs. Clinton nor Mr. Trump are remotely the right person for the job.  I know many who feel likewise.  Some of those folks do participate in those threads, parsing incremental differences in faults and arguing that they are monumental.  To me that is an argument with no winners and only the possibility of driving us father apart when we need to come together.  Given that belief I don't think my statement was even an unconscious shot. I truly have tried assiduously to avoid the topic.
