Another Tranny Problem (1 Viewer)

So, my wife and I are sort of in the market for a new vehicle. We currently have an '04 Suburban that we had to have the tranny rebuilt at around 80,000 miles. Apparently this was an issue with that car back then.

So we need to replace it at some point with a similar type car. Looking at the Ford Expedition EL and the Suburban again. Probably used for sure - something 5 or 6 years old.

Just curious if anyone here has a Suburban in the 2011 - 2012 ish age where they have had tranny issues. Don't really want to go through that again if it's still an issue with that particular car. We use ours to haul camping gear and a 17' fishing boat, so it does tow once in awhile.

Id try talking the Ford into self identifying as a Chevy and see what happens.
