Another work in progress in the Cardinals’ secondary who has shown steady improvement is former first-round pick Antrel Rolle, who has switched from cornerback to the team’s starting FS job.

“He’s come a long way,” the insider said of Rolle. “He’s not taking the same bad angles like he was earlier this season, and he’s always been a very good open-field tackler.

We’re also told that, in response to various shifting offensive formations, Rolle recently has been sharing more of the blitzing load previously handled primarily by SS Adrian Wilson, who team insiders tell us has gone out of his way to work with Rolle at his new position.

I really like Rolle's upside, sounds like he's found a home for sure at safety.

Wilson and Rolle are so comfortable now that they often play interchangeable roles. In past years, if a safety blitz was called and the offense flipped the strong side of the formation, Wilson moved to the other side, too.

Now, Wilson's just as likely to move back to safety and allow Rolle to move down. It's not always just Wilson coming down for run support, either.

He returned an interception for a touchdown against the Rams in early November and had 12 solo tackles the past two games. He's even dabbled a bit on the offensive side of the ball, lining up at receiver and catching a pass for 9 yards last week against the Rams.

Noticed he was around 18th overall for DBs in a few of my leagues.

Aberration or likely results next year?

He also scored much higher than A. Wilson but I'm not sure what to make of it.

Is this a guy to look at in dynasty leagues?

Aberration or likely results next year?I think Rolle is a solid #2 DB with some big play upside. If they were interchanging like Mr. Somers states, Rolle probably had a negative impact on Wilson's numbers.

Sadly I had him last year and cut him... and then his play started improving. THink he's worth targeting again next year?

It is, but just curious why. Do you think he or Adrian will move on? Has something changed over the last 2 months of the season?

Im not sure if someone will move on this year at all. But one or the other will eventually move on, and if its a deep league hes worth my roster spot. He is going to see increased playing time no matter what.

He had a better year Fantasy wise AND NFL wise than Wilson last year.
