I think they'll give Mathews ever opportunity to be the starter but coming from someone who's been very impressed with Tobert and very unimpressed with Mathews it wouldnt shock me if he stole the job next year.

This is currently my stance, it seems like they were trying as hard as possible to give him every chance to prove he was worth it and in the end Tolbert performed well above anyones expectations.

As a Matthews owner, it worries me more that Tolbert has earned a significant role for next year. Dynasty leagues drafted Matthews at 1.1 or 1.2, so he was expected to be a feature back. Sproles is still playing well as a 3rd down back. I see limited opportunities for Matthews to bust out, but you never know what the coaches will do with the reps.
I agree that Matthews will be given every chance to secure the job, BUT, maybe Mike Tolbert = Michael Turner... he'll continue to get carries, show flashes, and then get his opportunity via free agency.

I don't think Tolbert will start over Matthews next year, but I think Matthews will get hurt again and Tolbert will end up starting several games again by default.

So hes obviously worth drafting in this scenario, where do you think you take him, provided you didnt draft Mathews? Also drafting Mathews and not also handcuffing with Tolbert is terrible imo for next year.
