Any computer guru's in here? (1 Viewer)

So today, I was trying to stream some videos from my laptop to my tv via hdmi.

It has worked perfectly fine before without any issues.

But today, I get a green picture. I tried another hdmi cable and get the same result.

I tried both hdmi cables on my bluray player and they both work fine.

Would it have to do with my laptop? Something probably wrong with it?

Thanks in advance.

Control panel > Appearance and Personalization > Display > Connect to external display

Make sure 'dual-view' is the setting.

Green picture? Sounds like a corrupted driver our the graphics card is starting to go. Try looking on the GCs website for the latest driver and install it.

My guess is you are using a screen resolution your TV doesn't support. try it at a low setting and work your way up.

Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Display\Screen Resolution or right-click the desktop and select screen resolution.
