Does anyone have any latest from KJ? Is he doing well at practice? Any setbacks? I have not seen anything since Tuesday!

Not sure either, but if he does start this could be another one of his clunker games.

Something of the tune of 12 carries, 47yds....

People need to rely on someone else if you're looking towards the playoffs

Jones set to play

Kevin Jones has recovered from a sprained left ankle to return to his role as the workhorse tailback for the Lions.

Jones tested the injured ankle for the first time in a week during practice Monday. He went out in the first quarter of Detroit's loss Nov. 19 at Arizona and did not play in the Thanksgiving Day loss to Miami.

Jones expects to play Sunday at New England.

"It's a little sore," Jones said after practice. "I feel good enough right now -- a lot better than I did. I could barely jog last week. I ran today and did some cutting.

"I know definitely I'm going to have some pain. I did have a pretty bad sprain on the foot and ankle. I'm just going to try to get through it and finish strong."

Without Jones, the Lions had no running game against the Dolphins. Arlen Harris and Aveion Cason combined for 21 yards on 10 carries.

Jones rushed for 636 yards, six touchdowns and a 4.2-yard average in the first 10 games. His 50 receptions are a career best and he has a touchdown reception.

It appears there is help on the way in at least one significant area — the running game. RB Kevin Jones, who missed the Thanksgiving Day game with a sprained ankle, has resumed workouts and is expected to play Sunday in the Lions' game at New England.

RB Kevin Jones missed the Lions' Thanksgiving Day game against Miami with a sprained ankle but he isn't even on the injury list this week. Coach Rod Marinelli said Jones participated fully in the team's first full practice of the week Wednesday, in preparation for the game Sunday at New England

Detroit running back Kevin Jones will return after missing Week 11 with a sprained ankle.

Analysis: Only start Jones if no other solid options exist. New England ranks as the league's third-best run defense and has allowed the fourth-fewest rushing touchdowns (6

Ignore Baker, he doesnt know what hes talking about. Dillon is a solid option vs Detroit, dont believe me? check the stats. Anytime Dillon has a cushy matchup he gets his yards/scores.

When given the choice between the guy who will get 90% plus of his team's carries and 6-10 receptions and the guy who will get 50% or less of his team's carries and at most 1 reception, I take the former every time, regardless of match-up.

I am looking to start KJ in a PPR league. I agree a must start, but one tweak of that ankle could be bad for my playoff chances. My other option is Edge, who sucked last week but should bounce back against Rams. I think I have to go with KJ though! Thanks for the updates!
