Anybody picking up KFaulk in PPR? (1 Viewer)

I wasn't paying much attention to Morris' blitz-pickup ability, but Faulk clearly does this 100 times better than Maroney. With the way the Pats have been passing so much in the first half of games to build leads, this might mean Faulk sees significant time as the blitz-blocker/safety valve in first halves and Maroney sees more time in the 2nd halves while they sit on leads.

Picked him up as soon as Morris was injured -- has averaged about 8 points a game over the last three weeks in my PPR league, and may be a solid sleeper if Maroney has trouble staying healthy.

Even if Maroney becomes the solid stud that he seems he will be down the line, unlike a lot of situational or 3rd down backs, Faulk sees the field quite a lot in both running and passing downs. In PPR leagues, he is absolutely worth rostering, as he can be a quality flex start against certain teams, such as last week.

Faulk is a far better real football player than fantasy player. In real football he's the prototypical third down RB. He can run, catch and his blocking ability is superb. He's a very reliable veteran with leadership qualities who BB is not afraid to use in big situations. He's come up with some real big plays in his career as well. The fact he contributes on special teams is another plus.

Unfortunately he's not much of a Fantasy player. The fact he hardly ever gets in the end zone is a big minus and will kill you in head-to-head matchips. Faulk only has 21 total TDs in 8.5 years. In the last 2.5 years he has a grand total of 3. Add that to the fact he's probably going to max out at around 500 total yards and 40-45 receptions and his value is pretty limited. If you're in a situation where Faulk's in your starting lineup you're probably going to be in big trouble. With Morris out he's definetly worth a roster spot (and I do have him on one team) but if I actually had to play him I would not be happy.

I was trying to decide who to pick up between Faulk and Pittman. I went with Pittman.....but I still keep going back and forth on whether or not it's the right guy. Either way, I have the bench space for a #3/#4 RB...
