Panthers are playing at home, and in need of a win. Anyone starting Stewart with confidence? I'm debating starting WR Hawkins over him in a PPR because i just don't know how many touches we should expect this weekend. Any Panthers homers have any news on Stewart this AM?
I took away one positive from the match-up. SEA is surrendering the 9th most receptions (21) to RBs this year. On the flip though, Tolbert seems to be hogging the receptions in that backfield. Due to the bye I had to choose between JStew and Quizz (PPR), I went with Quizz if that says anything.

I'm a Stewart owner (starting him as my RB3 today) and would start Quizz over him this week too if I had that choice. Agree with you that Tolbert is getting a lot of passing situation snaps. That concerns me as a Stewart owner because JStew showed last season he could be a PPR asset as he got more involved in the passing game. So far this season, though, that hasn't happened. You can pretty much count on him to get 40-50 yards rushing each week at least; it'd be nice if he got more work in the passing game.
There isn't really additional news other than he is looking good and will get his normal load. He is used a lot more than Deangelo in the passing game, and he gets a similar amount of rushes. As always, he'll probably need a touchdown or a few big plays to give you great numbers, but a solid 10-15 point PPR peroformance is probably what you can expect.
I don't own Stewart, but I am a Quizz owner and would bench him if I had the Stewart available to me.

It's still yet to be seen if he's going to be a PPR asset again this year. He's been targeted only twice in the two games he participated in. Tolbert has seen 11 targets on the season. If JStew doesn't start seeing targets, I hate to say it, but he'd be almost worthless.Quizz on the other hand has seen 12, 9 in the last two weeks. In PPR, I'm going with him until I see Cam target JStew out of the backfield once again.
Starting in flex w/o confidence. Only starting due to a couple byes. I think he'll be solid in a few weeks, though. Just need to get this injury out of the way and back into the swing of things.

Plus, those dimwits in Carolina seem to have no clue how to utilize their RBs from week to week. One week, it will be good, and then the next week, they'll inexplicably ignore one or both of them, rendering them both unreliable to where you really have to go with other options if they are available and comparable.
In one dynasty league, I own both Williams and Stewart and I have some bye week and injury issues this week. I have so little confidence in Williams and Stewart that I am starting Hixon, Cobb, and Finley over them in flex spots. And that is a sad statement... if I am not confident enough to use them when my usual starters are hurt or on bye, it implies they have no value. But I haven't been able to bring myself to cut them.
