Anyone Else Benching Caddy This Week? (1 Viewer)

Bench Caddy? Unless you have some REAL options behind him (Tatum Bell on?), you can't afford to sit him.

Caddy = injury risk

But you shoulda known that when you drafted him:

Are you suggesting that Tatum is a viable start over Cadillac?
Back *issues* forcing him out of the game last week, 2 starting linemen hurt, Simms can't keep drives going, oh and this:GP Att Yds Avg TDs

1 8 22 2.8 0

Caddy is a #1  for a lot of teams that drafted 10th+ in 12 team or larger leagues right now, and I'd probably start Tatum over him (@ home coming off 15/103). Even w/ M Bell vulturing in a RBBC. Hell, I'm considering trading Caddy / WR4 for Tatum (have MBell) / Driver. :bag:

I was considering benching Caddy for Jamal Lewis. But Carnell's not even on the injury report, so I think I'd be nuts to bench him.
I am benching Caddy for Jamal Lewis. The Ravens D is going to pound the Raiders far worse than SD did (if that is possble). Time of possession will be huge in the Ravens favor as well so they will be pounding the ball on the ground. Jamal ran well against the TB D last week, which is far better than Oakland. I would much rather wait a week and see if Caddy's back is OK.

SA is a must start for me. My other three rb's are Caddy, Gore and Ahman.

Caddy rides the pine this week along with Ahman.

I would bench Caddy this week for:

Alexander, Tomlinson, Rudi, LJ, Gore, Barber, SJax, Lewis, Bush, McGahee, James, T Bell, Ahman Green, Dunn

However many of the other options discussed are not much better. Cadillac is still a stud until proven otherwise over MULTIPLE weeks. Puny Parker (vs. Jags), Westbrook (dinged), C. Taylor (unproven and terrible ypc), Foster (Panthers O is struggling), F. Taylor (vs. Steelers), K Jones (vs. Bears) any member of the RBBC in Indy, Tenn, NE, Dallas, etc. are all gambles. I would err on the side of Caddy in all these circumstances.

pick 2...

Caddy, Foster, Thomas Jones.

I'm very undecided as to what to do.

Anybody hear anything definitive on Atlanta's D Line situation (Abraham and Kearney)?

I am starting Caddy over Jamal Lewis as well. A tough decision but with Abraham out and one of Caddy's lineman back I think he will have a good game. In addition, Caddy looks healthy for the game.I just can't imagine not starting my number 1 pick over I guy I grabbed in the fifth round.

I kept the man to start him. I see a lot of excuses for the Baltimore debacle. This weekhe gets his guard back and Abraham is out. Always start your studs, and until further notice, Caddy is still a stud

Great example of a sunk cost bias.

He was drafted in the first round for a reason. He is a stud rb in my mind and I won't bench him for a guy who had a good week but was not very good the last two years. Maybe I am wrong but not because of a bias but because in my view at this point Caddy is a much better player.
