2025 RB Lotto Ticket Rankings (4 Viewers)

Manongai is a punishing strong runner. He never lost a fumble in his college career. He was better than Pacheco at Rutgers. Grab and stash.
I debated between him and Bill for pick 6.10 in a dynasty draft early May. From a value perspective, early returns have not been too good! But I still like this guy's chances to stick.
He will, kid is a beast, and great pass protection for a RB

In the Miami game, as a runner, Manongai showed good vision and burst, nice cuts, contact balance, broke tackles, getting YAC. He passed the eye test as a runner. As a pass blocker, he was over-powered a few times. He's listed at 5'8", 207 lbs. I don't think he's known as a receiver.
I don't want to put too much stock in the underwear Olympics but he ran a 4.6
It's not always about straight speed. I saw every one of his games. The guy is special.

My money and hope is on these guys.

Pierce- been saying this all off season, going back to the power gap run scheme like they ran during his rookie year is huge for him. Just not feeling Chubb is the answer for this year, Pierce has already done this and is still young

Miller- I moved my one share of Kamara this off season on a contending team, really see this as the beginning of the end for Kamara. Miller is talented, injuries and previous coach really choked him out, I see him with more rushing yards than Kamara by the end of the year

Blue- fast track to Cowboys RB1 compared to the rest of the stable in Dallas

Tucker- not sure if it is this year or next but he is on the verge of a breakout if given the chance

I think this is too optimistic. I think Kamara has a stranglehold on that job and the only way Miller starts is if Kamara gets hurt. I'm not sure what Kendre can really do with an offense like New Orleans has. It's really too bad he's in the situation he's in.

I'm only referring to rushing yards by the end of the year. Kamara has never been all that efficient running the ball and has seemed to decline in that department the past few years, the Kubiak system lifted him up last year IMO. I think injury regression or a trade are both strong possibilities.

Oh, that's a bit different. I still wouldn't go as far as you, but that's very plausible if Kamara were to get injured. I agree that Kamara did almost all of his damage through the air and that's where the PPR points came from. He caught it often and he's still great in space because he feels his way. I don't think that's going away. I also think he gets the bulk of the RB work for that reason. He's definitely a smart, seasoned vet. I just want Kendre to show that he knows the playbook, knows where to be, is willing to get physical once he's there, and manages to stay healthy. I think if he does that, then the rest will come in due time. We'll see. That's what makes this fun!

I'm a Kendre Miller stan and honk and everybody knows it, but man he looks like a different guy. Who knows about durability? He actually passed the biggest test to me, which was the coaching staff test, whereby Kellen Moore says that Miller is putting in the effort and knows the playbook and is doing a lot of things and that they're asking him to do a lot of things.

The biggest test he passed was making it out of preseason without an injury.

There is still time.........10 days before the Saints play.

Oh that’s the second hurdle. That’s why I set it aside by saying, “Who knows about durability?” because the way Dennis Allen acted really left us only one area of action, unfortunately, if we seek to get to the truth of the matter that is the curious case of Kendre Miller vis a vis Dennis Allen.

We have to note the uniqueness of a coach calling a player out like Allen did Miller and we then sort of have to scrutinize Miller. If Miller acts in keeping with a professional when Allen is removed from the situations, we might begin to legitimately contemplate whether the player might not bear all the responsibility for the ill will.

Indeed, we might infer from the fact that there were members of Allen’s own staff publicly leaking information pointing to the possibility that Kendre might have been railroaded and turned into a scapegoat—and that the problem was not Kendre’s, but Allen’s, and that Allen’s problem was seriously unethical, violative, and heinously worse than simple mischief. If true, it is not an overstatement to say that one man slandered and tried to ruin another man’s reputation and ability to earn a living in his chosen profession. That’s a criminal offense if Allen’s implications and accusations are baseless. At best, they disqualify Allen from being entitled to the benefits of the institution he is a part of. At worst, he can rot in a cell or hell.

If it is indeed that kind of case we are presented with, then Allen won’t just be the third-worst head coach in fifty years because of ineptitude, but also due to a serious defect of character. If so, he should be treated by observers, fans, and participants accordingly. I’ll personally spit at his feet to show (if it is true) my lack of respect for what he tried to do with a man’s career. He will have earned it.

Maybe. He certainly has nice contact balance, which is a major asset. But speed will matter in the NFL when if/when he has to break things outside.

What role do you see for him in Chicago this season? He seems very unproven in the passing game, maybe spelling Swift on 1st & 2nd downs. His short stature and sturdy build could make him an asset in short yardage situations, perhaps. But the Bears also have a couple 6', 220 lb guys in Roschon & Freeman (they were both on the roster as of yesterday) that they may prefer in both of those roles.

In redraft he's a guy to keep an eye on and not much more. In dynasty he feels more like a deep roster lottery ticket guy.
