Anyone else considering passing on ADP at the #2 ? (1 Viewer)

12 for 21 and a goal line TD that took a couple of attempts this week with Ferrotte who I think is more of a passing threat then T.Jackson. 8 for 30 the week before, 6 games he played after his bust out 296 yard game last year and only one game over 100 yards and 4 TD's (coming in 2 games). Just seems like teams figured out the Vikings have no passing attack and until they do they are going to stack the box against ADP. Yea he'll have a couple break out games but can you afford the 14 for 3, 9 for 27, and 11 for 36 performances he had 3 out of the last 4 weeks last season ?

So I draw the #2 at the pre draft back in early July and was all set to take SJax until his hold out, now I'm really torn what I am going to do. Been trying to trade down to the 3 thru 5 and let fate decide but no one seems interested.

Just wondering if anyone has seen anybody pass on ADP at the 2.

Unfortunately, I don't have a #2 pick this year, but saying we lived in an imaginary world in which I did..I would probably take Brian Westbrook at #2. Well, I would absolutely take him at #2 if it was PPR but if it wasn't I'd still probably take him, but Stephen Jackson would get a long look.

Just did my draft yesterday, and took Westbrook #2 overall, it is a PPR league.

1. It's preseason.2. Teams didn't figure out the Vikes didn't have a passing attack after his 296 yd game. I think it was quite obvious from week 1.3. AP was hurt and likely hit the proverbial "rookie wall" to finish the season.4. It's preseason.5. The Vikings passing attack should improve significantly compared to last year with the addition of Berrian and the development of Rice and TJax.6. All RB's, even the elite ones, put up stinkers every once in a while.7. It's preaseaon.

The Vikings have the best offensive line in the league and probably the best defense in the league too.

Your right, he hasn't looked great in preseaon. Marcus Mason is leading the league in rushing this preseason. You really should consider taking him.
