Anyone else in here Champion of their Dynasty league? (1 Viewer)

Unfortunately my dynasty team fell flat on their face this year between guys not playing and injuries.... so I have a much better pick than you. :goodposting:

That being said, I think it's still hard to predict many picks, let alone the 12th, in a dynasty league b/c there are still so many talented juniors we are waiting to see if they declare or not.

I got the 12th pick as well. I am banking on Peterson or Lynch falling to me there. If they are somehow gone before I pick I am looking at Quinn to fill a need.

As a dynasty league winner, you have a good team. Ergo, with a late round pick and, presumably, not a lot of needs, you will draft the best player available regardless of position. This looks to be a deep WR class and possibly QB as well, so I would start scouting the 3rd and 4th best players at those positions. I am always surprised how far the young QBs fall in my league, but that is obviously dependent on your scoring and starting req's.

I have the 12th pick which is a nice problem to have since it means I won the league, if any of the players Challengeeverything mentions fall to me it will be an easy decision. I don't expect any of them will so I might be looking to bolster my defense, depending on which teams the toprated LBs and DEs end up. with a 2 ppr rule for TEs I might nab one of those if available, would love to see Dwayne Jarrett drop to me but I can't see it happening.

Players that will definitly be gone:

Calvin Johnson

Adrian Peterson

Marshawn Lynch

Anyone else could be there, but not likely any RB in drafted in the first 2 Rounds of the NFL Draft.

If you are very lucky, you may have a shot at a 1st Round NFL Draft WR (Jarrett, Ginn, Rice, Meachem, Samardzija, Bowe)

Peterson, Lynch or Quinn falling to you at #12? OMG... :bye:
I have pick 10 and 12 due to a trade. I am planning on getting two of the three I mentioned. Bank on it.
Are you talking a straight rookie draft? If so, please post your predicted first 9 picks. (Yes, I know this is a  trip).

I just thought he was being sarcastic personally.

I won my dynasty this year for the 2nd time in 5 yrs. It's an IDP dynasty league as well. You can also draft any FA vet when our draft begins. We don't have a seperate rookie draft. There are plenty of very good veteran defensive players in our player pool so I don't think I'll be targeting any of them with my first pick. This is a 10 team dynasty league and I pick #10 in the first.Running backs with any caliber and potential are usually first of the board followed by top prospect receivers and then any top rated QB's. The list of these players I expect to be gone before my pick rolls around.

RBAdrian Peterson

RB Marshawn Lynch

RB Kenny Irons

WR Dwayne Jarrett

WR Calvin Johnson

WR Ted Ginn

QB JeMarcus Russell

QB Brady Quinn

QB Brian Brohm(may be early pick depending on team needs)

Players that could go before my#10 pick

RB Antonio Pittman

WR Jeff Smardzija(could consider playing baseball)

WR Sidney Rice

I'm set at QB so I won't be looking there.Considering most of the top name guys will be gone by my pick at this point I'm strongly targeting TE Greg Olson. He is considered the top TE prospect.I currently have Chris Cooley, Randy McMichael and Tony Scheffler. If Ted Ginn should fall to me for some reason I'd take him otherwise Olson would be my pick. If both of them are gone then I'd probably choose between WR Sidney Rice or Jeff Smardzija.

Totally agree.

Does anyone know if Zach Miller will be in this year's draft? I'm looking to improve at TE myself, and if both Miller and Olsen are draftable, it may influence how I slot players (I have a late first rounder and an early second rounder).Any geeks care to jump in and compare and contrast the two? TIA

Nevermind on whether or not Zach Miller has declared - NFLDraftScout reports he has.

I'd still like to see some Miller vs. Olsen talk.
