Anyone Else Picking Up GARY GUYTON For Week 2? (1 Viewer)

Curious if anyone else is picking up Guyton for week 2. Supposedly, he will be wearing the head set for New England which would mean he's playing three downs. Initially, I was going to grab Adalius Thomas, but it sounds like he is staying on the outside. What should I expect from Guyton? About the same as Mayo???

I was at the game and have watched most of it on tape over the last couple of days. He seemed a little slow getting to the ball especially in pass coverage on Jackson. He seems to be thinking and not reacting at this point that usually gets better with reps. I think he will have a tougher match up covering Washington out of the back field this week. I see him being used mostly on run downs. I would take one step further back and look to NE DB's (Merriwether, Sanders, and maybe a little Chung) to pick up the slack especially in coverage of Washington.

I would take Thomas over Guyton, Guyton was on the field a lot after Mayo's injury and only mustarded 2 solos

I think you'll see Thomas back at ILB and calling the defense IMO.

I think guyton was on the field for something like 50 of 54 snaps vs buffalo --- it's copy/pasted in the mayo thread.

didn't really produce much, but there are studs that have off weeks, too.

I guess we'll see.

I believe they actually ran w/a 4-3 w/guyton as mlb rather than the 3-4, so you'd think he's in the best possible situation, at least, even if the pats probably aren't the best spot for your mlb.

I didn't get a chance to watch the Jets/Pats game yesterday. Did Guyton look any better? Saw that he had 7 solo stops but I have learned to not necessarily trust the stat line. Just wondering if he looked as lost. Thanks.
