Anyone ever go into playoffs on 18 game win streak? (1 Viewer)

I've been hoping that a team would come up and beat me one of these weeks to get the big monkey off my back. We play doubleheaders and the team has been on a roll.

I played the top scorer this week who would have beat me, except he sat Reggie Bush on the bench. I sure would have liked to have at least one L to break the undefeated streak before the playoffs begin.

So the question is, at 22-3 on 18 game streak, is it inevitable that I lose in the playoffs?

yes, 1 game first week of the season and then double headers during next 12.Ironically I was the lowest scorer in week 1. Funny how things change.

I won 11 in a row last year before losing in the championship game by 1.5 points. I fell victim to Shaun Alexander getting fed a garbage time TD just to tie the all-time TD record at home in Week 16. Like librahi said, there's no real team psyche involved here to concern you. Bottom line is that if you're good enough to win 88% of your matchups, you should have a great chance of winning your playoff games, too.
