So I was looking at all the TV's through last weekend and almost bought a bunch of different deals. 60" LG Plasma, 50" 120hz HD Samsung, etc, etc. Was looking to keep it under $500.
I ended up getting this deal....

It's a Sceptre 49" 4k TV. IT has HDMI 2.0 so it does 4k@60hz. Also read a bunch of reviews on the Sceptres, the brand worried me. Lots of speculation that these are Sony or Hitachi panels, they have pretty great reviews on most of their TV's, and they're actually walmart's #1 selling tv brand. So I felt better, especially knowing I can just return this if I don't like it.
So $399 for a 49" 4k seemed like too good a deal to pass up. Does anyone have a 4k TV? I'm not even sure I can get anything to PLAY in 4k. Am I just buying this for future media players? Is the picture going to be discernibly better than a normal HD because it upscales? Just wondering what to expect.
