Have a friend in medical sales who can get me a TENS unit at cost. When I screwed my back up years ago they used one of these at PT. I see that many pro athletes also use this for workout recovery and minor muscle strains.

I have a mini one at home, it was pretty inexpensive IIRC. I like it a lot, you just need to be careful you don't go hog wild, you can really stress yourself if you over hook the wrong areas.

I have one. Use it occasionally and it isn't bad and feels pretty cool. It freaks my daughter out since you can make your muscles jump like shocking a frog in science class.

We have two.

I bought one to help with recovery from long workouts, which it does help somewhat.

My wife got one after her ACL surgery (covered by insurance), it helped her but she hated it.
