Build a wall...a great big wall to keep the bamboo out.  And have your neighbor pay for it.

Every time more bamboo grows, the wall gets 10 feet higher!

You know what that bamboo is doing right now. Spreading. 

I just took out an artery that had a shoot that pop up for sun.  Remain vigilant.
