Anyone know of a good shipper for oversized packages to Canada? (1 Viewer)

Long story short, I have a framed print I sold on ebay that measures 47x41x7 after boxing it up, and weighing in at a whopping 29 pounds. Most of that is the custom box and packing to secure it. USPS says it's too large to send, and the cheapest I've found is UPS for $265. Anyone have any other suggestions? TIA...

Edited to reflect 41 inches, not 71, my bad.

You think $265 is too much? A six foot long package is going to get special handling as it does not just get put on the conveyor belt and thrown into a trailer.
Good luck going with an LTL carrier over UPS/Fedex.

Well, it's just shy of four feet, but I get your point. If ebays shipping tool was working as it should I would have known before spending the time and money to get this together.

also that thing is huge! what the hell is it?
It's a framed art print. I gave up shipping framed art a long time ago, but discovered that spacers weren't used when this was framed, resulting in foxing where the matting meets the print. The solution was to ship it with the frame and matt so it would hide the foxing (after discussing this with the buyer). The print itself is only 42x30, the rest is packing and the box. The print sold on ebay for $495. Almost not worth the time and hassle.
