Am I crazy or could he have a good day tomorrow?
By good day I mean 100 total yards and a td

I'm actually doing the opposite in a PPR -- sitting Moss in favor for Forte in my flex (trotting out Rashad Jennings/SJAX at RB and Colston/Nicks at WR). I think the poster above has the right forecasted performance -- Forte won't be spectacular, and will likely end up with 50-60 yds on the ground and 3 catches for 20 yards. But those catches and combined yards from scrimmage are what vaults Forte above Moss in a PPR, IMO.- He got killed vs. NE in similar weather a few weeks ago, although the blowout obv. Influenced the play calling.- the Jets are the # 1 defense vs. RB receptions and yards in the league, and Forte's receptions are a big part of his relative consistency in ppr leagues.- chester taylor, at 0.4 yards per carry or so, won't go away and will steal gl carriesSitting Forte for S Moss (ppr) .
In a ppr, moss needs 6 for 40 for the same points, and i think he has a much higher ceiling. He seems to have good chemistry with grossman, and this game is a lot more likely to be high scoring than nyj / chi. I think forte is the better play if it's high floor you're looking for, and s moss or similar wr is the higher- upside pick.I'm actually doing the opposite in a PPR -- sitting Moss in favor for Forte in my flex (trotting out Rashad Jennings/SJAX at RB and Colston/Nicks at WR). I am in the same boat, but it sounds like AP is definitely going to play.Pretty much have to start him since Peterson is in doubt. Uggghhhh....
Agree that Moss has the higher ceiling, and rex targeted him a lot last week. But don't forget that Armstrong and Cooley can take away looks. Torain out of the backfield is also an option. I just don't see Grossman having another stellar day in Jacksonville like he did last week.In PPR, I think Forte can get half the catches Moss will, and while the NYJ poses a very stout run D, they are on a downward momentum having given up more than 100 yards on the ground to their last two opponents. The Jets will show up, no doubt, as they need this win to stay in the wildcard hunt, but I think Forte has a shot to perform to his mean.I'm taking a gamble on Rashad Jennings, so I need some solid dependable points this week in the championship -- I think Forte provides this more than Moss. Time will tell, obviously!elbowrm said:In a ppr, moss needs 6 for 40 for the same points, and i think he has a much higher ceiling. I wish I could feel the same way, but I just can't. I know AP will probably play, but I have a feeling the Vikings are going to blow out Minny and he won't have much impact at all in the game. I know Forte will probably suck today, but with a chance he'll get some receptions today, I have to roll with him.with NFL Network saying the game tonight is most LIKELY postponed, I'm going to start AP. Just another day/night for that ankle to heal.
rethinking it now that I looked what the jets d has given up n the ground the last couple weeks, uuuggggthinking woodhead over forte as of now
If by an outside chance you mean 1 in 15 trillion then yes. Cutler has a better chance of running for 100 and a score than Taylor. Hell, Ditka has a better chance. You would be crazy to think that is probable, but I'd say there is an outside chance that he does that. There's also an outside chance that Chester does that. Both are highly unlikely.
Me too, so far. Couldn't pull the trigger with Peterson and so far I like the results.Glad I rolled with him.
A little late to the game with the post...Of course you start Forte, because the Jets are overrated and they suck. The sheen of Hard Knocks have fallen off of Ryan's boys, and their true mediocrity comes out.
