I saw this on TV - What annoys me the most is that people had to be removed from their seats for this. I'm sure the protesting douchhhes could care less though, they just want their message to be heard and could care less about others impacted bc a protesters message is more important than anything/anyone around them.

I really wish there were harsher laws and punishments in place for people like this.

The whole point of protesting is to get your message out and that often means hitting people where they feel it so that they take notice. I'd say the protest was successful thanks in part to you for noticing and posting this article. Thanks for the heads up.

Again, I have no idea if there is any truth to what they're claiming but if there is, who cares about your office's profitability compared to keeping people healthy?

No offense meant or anything, this one just hits kinda close to home as we constantly hear the law makers around here in the Salt Lake Valley lamenting about how economically disastrous it would be to impose stricter sanctions on the oil refineries in the area. Meanwhile we continue to have the worst average air quality in the USA where some days are literally so bad that you can't see a 10,000 foot mountain that is 100 yards away from you because the smog is so thick.

that is complete crap. The company managing the job is always in the top three for safety in the industry. One if the best companies to work for in the us. Idiots. Also they are constructing an l&g power plant. Much cleaner than coal and much safer than nuclear. Once again people have no idea what they are talking about. Further margins in this industry are not that sexy so the profit grab is complete b/s.
