Are Colston and Roy Williams the real deal? (1 Viewer)

What do you guys think of both of these WRs? Are we looking at 2 top 10 WRs both this year, and looking forward? Trying to figure out both's dynasty value....

:goodposting: Roy was an elite college talent who always had very good potential. He hit some bumps along the way, but most people never stopped believing that he could be a fantasy force.Colston has been great so far, but its only been 1/3 of a season. There are plenty of guys who had an awesome string of games and bombed afterwards (Hi Michael Clayton)I wouldnt target Colston in a dynasty at this point. Correct me if im wrong, but he wont have TE eligibilty in most leagues next year, and you'd be buying high. His value has nowhere to go but down right now.

Roy is the real deal. He was great in college , drafted in the 1st round and flashed plays of brilliance on a sub-par team up until this point. With the mad scientist Mike Martz getting him targets and having already proven he can take on the CB1's of the NFL, I think he is having his coming out party just begin.

Colston a 7th rounder, not alot of people know and watched his highlights from Hofstra, Came out of no where In his first year on a competitive team with a wealth of weapons, he has 4 great games and then has a decreasing number of targets.

Colston is still TBD but if I had to answer now I would say hes not legit until I see him put up the great numbers against teams CB1.

Roy Williams definitly is. The Lions have issues as always but Roy is not one of them. I was on the fence about him still prior to this season but he has continued to improve.

It is still too early to be certain about Colston but he looks very promising. He seems to be a Brees favorite and Joe Horn will not be long in the league. So unless the Saints bring in another reciever to displace Colston I like his prospects moving forward.

Given the coach and the teams strengths/weakness I believe player aquisition for the Saints will be more focused on defense in the offseason making threats to Colstons role in the offense pretty secure imo.

After the game Horn had last week Im not sure what his values is. Michael Clayton had a good rookie season, and was terrible last season

I think Roy and Andre are awesome and their availability in drafts this year just made them such sweet picks.

Colston, well he's a rook. I'd roll with him and be leery of him "coming back to earth" but wait for it to happen, if it does.

Marques Colston is for real.

He has some development to complete, but I have no doubt he will remain a solid starting WR in the NFL.

He will get even better (That's my "bold" prediction).

Colston is the real deal. I've been following him for a while now. He's a 6-4, 225 pound WR that runs a 4.5 40. He has all the physical tools and he's a great fit for the New Orleans offense. Now I know Hofstra isn't in the BIG 12... but Colston holds the all-time record for receiving yardage at Hofstra with 2,834 yards. He has always been a productive receiver.

Roy Williams is a no-brainer. He's DEFINATELY the real deal.

Week 1. I finally got the Sunday Ticket. I have Deuce, so I'm watching to see how he does aganst Cleveland. But the whole time I see this big, fast receiver hauling in everything Brees throws, and my first reaction was: "When did the Saints trade for Anquan Boldin?" That's who Colston reminded me of then, and he could turn out to be that kind of player. Or at least Boldin-lite.
