are the dynasty rankings ever going to get updated? (1 Viewer)

I think there is money to be made with a Dynasty Fantasy Football Site. Dynasty league are really starting to become large and offer the year round feel to them.

I think if FBG's really jumped on board with this they could have a big edge in the competition. If not there has to be some entrepreneur out there that buys a $7.99 Domain name and takes advantage of this. So what I am saying does anyone want to join forces with me and create the ultimate Dynasty FF site?

FBG tried this with Dynastyguys, it started off hot, but then cooled off and basically became a place to ask for trade advise.

How long ago was this though? I think Fantasy Football has exploded and now Dynasty leagues are becoming more and more popular I think it would be a hot spot once again. I definitly would like to contribute.

DynastyGuys.com It's my understanding that it is not an FBG venture, but a separate venture created and owned by current FBG staff member Jeff Pasquino and former FBG News Blogger Derek Tonn. I know they have other staff members that are familiar to you guys, but not sure how it is all tied into FBG, if at all.Give it a look-see and check out their message board. Free to sign up. Bloom and Tefertiller have updated their rankings on 10/18 and 10/21. They're not updated on the overall tab, but if you go to the positional rankings they're there.

How do you get to the positional rankings? When I click on Dynasty rankings, I just get a screen that says nothing submitted. No tabs.

When you get to the screen that says "No rankings submitted within the last 7 days. Click here to view rankings submitted within the last 14 days.", click "here" and you'll see "Click here to view rankings submitted within the last 28 days.", then "Click here to view rankings submitted within the last 56 days" you'll finally get to some overall rankings. From there, select the positions you want.Not sure what the problem is with Foster's ranking of RB31 (74 overall). /sarcasm.

I am an avid dynasty player.What are you guys looking for in terms of rankings? What would you do with them in-season? Would they help you make trades? You got start up dynasty drafts now? FBG is a re-draft site. most of the staffers are concentrating on in-season re-draft content and managing their own teams.Sure an updated ranking would be nice, but I dont think its the top of FBG priority list, Id rather they stick to their deadline for in-season content then worry about in-season dynasty rankings.

Rankings are good for in-season trade value and for waiver pickups. If I have Adrian Peterson, Maurice Jones-Drew, and Arian Foster, then when Foster blows up, I'm naturally going to start wondering what he's worth on the open market. Rankings are a great way to establish some sort of market value. Basically, updated dynasty rankings are really no different than a dynasty-centric version of the "Top 250 forward" that's one of FBGs' most popular pieces of redraft content.

Also if Joe & David are reading this.You already have one great source in the shark pool to hire and utilize for more in season dynasty content- SSOG. He does a great job on the board and seems to bring more to the shark pool than many already on staff.There was a survey sent out a couple of years back looking for suggestions, my main suggestion was to hire Matt Waldman. I'm not naive enough to think it was because of my suggestion but maybe there were already thoughts of doing this and many others in the survey also suggested this acquisition and helped to move this forward.My point being maybe it is time for another survey to get a feel for what additions & changes the paying customers would like to see.I firmly believe FBG's is the elite source for FF information but lets not become complacent or stubborn to making improvements and keeping with the times.

If Waldman and SSOG were on staff, then I'd buy a subscription. Would love to have F & L on board, but he already has a gig.

I am VERY happy to have the Lineup Dominator out every week by Tuesday evening (so far) so I hate to rock the boat but really dynasty content and the LD are the two main things that keep me here now it may be Rotoworld dynasty rankings vs FBG's Lineup Dominator unless I cave and pay for both.

Bloom, any comments on why you have Foster ranked so low? I would consider him a top 10 rb going forward. He certainly will fetch top 10 ransom right now. By your rankings it would seem to suggest sell high.
