Area man mistakenly admits he's noticed his wife's weight gain; won't have sects for a while. (1 Viewer)

Quite simply, no.  However there are a few potential upsides here for you.

1.  She gets her feelings hurt and decides to get healthier.

2.  She realizes that you are a catch and if she wants to hang onto you she better up her bedroom game.  We all know bigger girls try harder.

3.  If she really punishes you, which I doubt, you can pull the plug at any time and move on to someone younger, hotter, and dirtier.

All it takes is a lack of empathy on your part and you can really turn this into a win.

She's by no means a bigger girl.  She's just thrown on a quick 15 in the last year or so and I made the mistake of admitting that I had noticed.

Pretty much.   :bag:

I made the mistake once of pointing out the hypocrisy of my wife saying she wanted to lose a couple pounds while she ate half a large pizza and down 3 beers.

For the most part I think women want us to be honest and tell them when things are starting to change, but at the same time they don't wont to feel unattractive.  Its a fine line to walk.  I think in the end they respect you more if you tell the truth and say how you feel, rather than sugar coat everything and wish she would stay in shape.

Compliment her ####....profit.

This one isn't that complicated really.  As we know, women and men put on weight as they get older usually.  With that added weight comes bigger boobs.  Which is nice.  Like God's way of saying, "sorry we ran out of whiskey, but here's a beer."

No...no they do not.  I even asked, "was I just supposed to lie and say I hadn't noticed."  The response was 'yes'.

Did she ask you or did you bring it up on your own?

There was some lamenting on her part about her body and I brought up things she can do to help.  I should have just said, "you look gorgeous" and left it at that.

During the 'conversation', it was revealed that she believes I should be just as sexually attracted to her at 500 pounds as I am at 140.  Once again, I should have just said, "of course I will be."

Just like, I am as attractive to women if I make $400K per year or $40K per year.
