Arizona/Utah to Yellowstone (1 Viewer)

We are going to Yellowstone area for a week in June leaving from Oklahoma. We've been there before going through Grand Teton and Badlands on separate occasions.

Wife mentioned going through Utah/Arizona (yes, she can read a map) and taking 4 days to get to Yellowstone.

That won't leave a lot of time obviously, but if you were to pick a route and stops what would it be?

TIA!!

Man, that’s a stretch to include AZ in a four-day road trip to Yellowstone...

You might consider:

Oklahoma to Durango, CO. Spend the night and the next morning…

Take the Million Dollar Highway to Ouray, Colorado.

Spend the night in Ouray. It’s a great little mountain town in a box canyon. Closes up early.

From Ouray travel to Moab, Utah. If you have an extra day, rent a jeep and check out the slickrock, or explore the hiking trails in Arches National Park.

From Moab, you are about 550 miles from Yellowstone.
