Wonder why no team has looked to bring him on board . He would be a much better fit in the vikes off . And i believe he could get steve smith the ball in carolina . Just wondering what happend to him . Now grant it i know he is not a full time starter in this league . But sure seems like a better fit for some teams going forward this season .

I agree but he still had a strong arm . And by the looks of the vikes and panthers he could maybe be a better option .

Someone starts a thread like this every other week it seems. Apparently no one wants him at all, his phone has not even rung since preseason.

Brooks would be a horrible fit for the Vikings offense. Childress wants a conservative ball control passing game. The Vikes are also looking for a QB of the future. Brooks isn't it.

I could see him on the Panthers, but not the Vikings. Two keys- Carolina loves the deep ball, while Minnesota doesn't, and Carolina has better playoff hopes. Basically, everyone knows that Aaron Brooks is not the future, so the only team looking to bring him in would be a team that had legitimate playoff aspirations this season. In a division with 9-1 Green Bay and 6-4 Detroit, I think Minnesota's already playing for next year. In a division with 6-4 Tampa Bay and 4-6 New Orleans, I think Carolina still has divisional hopes, however slim. Besides, it's not like Vinny the Vet is the team's future, either.
