Arrest warrant issued for Brian Laundrie: *** Official manhunt time *** (1 Viewer)

 Dude was a dullard.

A mule is pretty dull.(It's the donkey side of them that does it) But they are simple and hard working. They are relentless and not saddled down by things irrelevant to survival. Mules are built for attrition.

Escape and evade is a game of attrition.

Some dull people have just enough sense in them to realize they need to outwork everyone else and be constantly pro active to make it and survive.

The idea that intelligence is the primary trait of survival is vastly overrated.

Adaptability, creative problem solving under duress and stamina are the core traits of survival.

VIDEO: The US has a 'thirst' for immigrant workers. Why do so many struggle to get legal status?

May 20, 2021 PBS NewsHour

President Joe Biden has said that changing immigration law remains an important piece of his agenda. But the path to new legislation is complex and hardly clear. One of the biggest flashpoints in this debate are questions about undocumented workers and their role in the economy. Paul Solman dives into those questions for his latest report for "Making Sense."

I'd say a large number, not all but many, of the core FBG forum demographic is a college educated liberal white male somewhere in the 40-50s age range making above average salary. ( Which would also explain so much of the tone deaf entitled mangina leaking Beta induced whining everywhere in the forums, particularly from the mediocre 4th tier lawyer class with high post counts.  )

There are people that many of you look past and look through every single day who are just getting by. Many without formal education and documentation and real options. But they survive. Many off the main grid.

And once the smoke clears and his face starts to blend in more, Brian Laundrie can't do the same?

Many of you, not all, don't really understand how horrible you sound and come across to most everyday Americans and even illegals living hand to mouth and constantly on the edge of financial/survival peril.

They wash your car, mow your lawns, cook your food, clean your bathrooms and dig your ditches while many of you soak in your self inflicted first world problems. Brian Laundrie can hide among these people many of you, not all but far too many, treat like unkempt and unwashed masses of cannon fodder.

The difference is while nearly all of these invisible people will take your crap and move forward, Brian Laundrie might just stick a knife in your throat.

Entitlement makes you soft, it reduces you to a soft kill. The invisible people all around America aren't entitled. They can't afford to be so and actually survive. And they won't lift a finger when you are laying in a parking lot bleeding out in the dark because you thought you could be soft and safe at the same time.

Some of you mock Brian Laundrie, but he has way more in common with you than the working class invisible people he's about to join.

He’s a hiker/camper, so he probably has a water filtration device +/- iodine tabs and a camp stove, which produce almost no smoke. And I wouldn’t be surprised if he was stockpiling supplies during the period he came home.

Realistically, he could live several months on freeze dried camp food and other sundries in a 80-100 pound pack. If he hunts or understands native flora, that could be stretched even longer, in a place with decent weather/temps.

As an aside, he looked like a healthy weight, albeit on the thin side.
I bet he'll survive longer than that since he's holed up in Antigua.

He doesn’t need a ton of survival skills until it gets cold.
Depending on where he is, the cold isn’t going to kill him but just make him really uncomfortable.  If he’s on the AT then that could be a factor - I’m not sure there’s a place in Florida where a person could freeze to death outdoors.

Eric Rudolph survived 5 years in the wilderness as one of the most wanted people in the USA at the time.

This ##### probably isn’t as near as experienced but with above average survival skills could last for awhile.

Some people here are wasting so much time posting. He's not hiding in the swamp or anywhere outside. Get your head out of your bum. He's playing chess while you're playing checkers.

Nobody hides out outside in Florida, it just doesn't work.

Who said he’s hiding out in Florida?

I doubt anyone would risk helping him out by hiding him in their house at this point.  They would be screwed.

The AT doesn’t go to Florida…

"According to Rudolph's own writings, he survived during his years as a fugitive by camping in the Nantahala National Forest near Cherokee and Graham Counties, in North Carolina, by gathering acorns and salamanders, pilfering vegetables from gardens, stealing grain from a grain silo, and raiding dumpsters in Murphy, North Carolina."

I wonder if Brian is willing to eat salamanders.

It is suspected that Rudolph had help from some mountain folks. Nobody will admit it. He wasn't very dirty when he was caught, and he was clean shaven except for a mustache, which was well trimmed. His hair had been cut and dyed. He was wearing newish tennis shoes. He didn't look like someone who had been living in the woods for five years.

However, it’s not called “God’s waiting room” for nothing.
Don’t you live in like Ohio or PA or something lol?

The people and politics of Florida suck but it’s a top-5 beautiful state. Luckily I don’t have to see any of those things while out on the water.

PA. But my previous remarks shouldn’t be taken as my opinion. As a matter of fact, I’ve never been further south than Charlotte, so I nothing to base an opinion on.

Two different things I was talking about but yeah - starts in North Georgia and you could freeze to death later in the year at elevation without gear.
The Florida Trail connects to the AT via the  Pinhoti and Benton Mackaye trails...

Nice beaches and a bunch of swamp, but flatter than Crosseyed’s globe. No thanks.

ETA OH and PA also suck.

He can 3D print something if he has that kind of resource base at some point. He can steal one. These all present certain risks. Or he can build a versatile "Ghost Gun".

I'm not saying it's going to be easy. I'm saying look at his needs and his realistic options. Building a "Ghost Gun" is one of them.
First you suggested he could find an 80% lower... which requires expensive/heavy milling equipment to finish out.

Now you say a "ghost gun" which is usually an unfinished lower but can be 3D printed unserialized firearm base.... which requires reasonably pricey equipment, and somewhere to work.

Not to mention He'd need to order a ton of other firearms parts for either... paid for how? Shipped where?

All for what reason? So he can avoid detection? This isn't CSI. They generally can't pull serial numbers from bullets 😂

The MUCH easier path would be to just buy stolen on the street if he somehow really needs a gun. Honestly your posts about guns read like an AI/bot that was fed a bunch of firearms terms but doesn't really understand them.

And as others have said, your "go to war" fantasy doesn't really jive with this kid and what's likely happening. It's an odd tangent.

I’ve done just a very small amount of Benton.  Very small during a day hike.  I’d love to do more of it one day.  Don’t know anything about Pinhoti - will have to look it up but I’d rather punch myself in the nuts repeatedly than trail hike in Florida.

Wow, TIL I may have unknowingly hiked a small portion of the Florida Trail while camping with Scouts at Gold Head Branch state park.
