Arrington still feeling bitter toward Redskins (1 Viewer)

According to this recent article he still feels hard done by. Frankly, I think it's way past time for this guy to shut his pie-hole and add some walk to his talk. This would be a good week to start.

Lindsey was asked if he expected Arrington to share secrets about Washington's defense.

"None. He didn't know anything when he was here," Lindsey said. "What makes you think he'll know something up there?"

Dale Lindsey is the biggest hard-### you've ever heard of. Picture R. Lee Ermey in Full Metal Jacket. That line cracks me up because 1) it's true, and 2) it's Lindsey being Lindsey. I'm more worried about Antonio Pierce providing insight into the 'Skins defense than I am about Lavar.

When the Giants acquired Lavar I wasn't real confident he'd live up to expectations (thank God this is an incentive laden, backloaded deal). However the one thing I felt certain about is that for 2 games (both the Skins contests) he'd play lights out. The rest of the time I pretty much felt he'd be average, assuming he could stay on the field. Well color me disappointed. If that display, or lack thereof, was supposed to vindicate him and make the Skins see the error of their ways ... well I'd say there's still work to be done! Maybe he's saving himself for the road game!

:goodposting: I was thinking the same way you were. Every "comeback" game that I've seen him play to date, meaning his first game returning from an injury, he's had a huge chip on his shoulder and has raced all over the field making plays. I was surprised at how invisible he was that game. The one play of note he did make, the batted pass on 2nd down, didn't even have an effect on the game given that the 'Skins converted the 3rd down on the next play. His whole wild man, accountable-to-no-one persona plays well when he was the physical freak he was when first drafted and was able to make amazing plays even when he wasn't really doing what he was supposed to be doing on a play. Now that he's a step or two slower, he looks only like a less-than-average LB with more attitude than talent. It's too bad that things worked out this way, but damned if it's not the case.
