Fellow IDPers, Larry's IDP matchup tool started a question burning in my mind. While Larry is giving us past data, can we forecast what will happen next week? No, of course not--but we can try!

P.S. I got to talking with Larry/Rozelle after I did this and he pointed out that he also included sacks as a tackle opportunity--quite right. I didn't think about that (and am not about to go back over all those box scores!) so these results are probably more useful in thinking about middle/inside linebacker starts (and maybe strong safety) than linemen or olb's. Still, it wouldn't be too far off. I hope!
