Bills | Palmer sees time with first team Wed Jun 10, 04:25 PM Chris Brown, of BuffaloBills.com, reports Buffalo Bills LB Ashlee Palmer took some reps with the first-team defense at weakside linebacker during practice Wednesday, June 10.Our view: Palmer got some work in place of veteran Kawika Mitchell - and the Bills coaching staff likes what they've seen so far from the rookie. Palmer is naturally suited for the weak side where his speed and athletic ability could really shine.
I'm don't know how he did at Ole Miss, but he looked pretty solid at the Senior Bowl. Looked a little small IIRC. Is there any chance he makes it at WLB for BUFF?Thoughts?

Interesting.

Palmer is barely safety sized, though, and fits only in a defense like this. He's a tough roster as a developmental player because his value is tied to this scheme and this coaching staff.

Like Ellison size?
Yes. Like Ellison, I doubt Palmer would be very productive in this scheme and likely wouldn't be looked at as more than a special teams player in most other situations.

I am from Mississippi and saw this kid play. Great sideline to sideline player. However, Ole Miss had a dominate defensive line so I really don't know if this guy can hold up. Yea he played in the SEC. But the Ole Miss line was the SEC version of the Giants DL .
