final table of double shoot out starting now
Wow, that's a little distracting considering we just hit the bubble here. Are you going to stall till the $?
nah...don't really care too much about $200 or so.
274. It might not mean much to you, but I'll happily take it. :)
Oh, don't get me wrong- $274 is nothing to sneeze at. But I'm not going to change my strategy because of it when theres $13K+ out there to be won.

Understood. I didn't play this to win 112, either. But for the twenty five or so hands where I'm getting close to the $, in a tourney that's on the high side of my usual play, I'll admit I'm not all-in stealing the blinds the way I would in a $30.

This hurts a lot. Damnit!

I could've just missed out on a seat at the WPT Championship there.

I know the feeling - you are still in it though, there are worse mistakes you could have made.

For all you know you could have been up against 67s and not have a spade on the river, also you cannot assume the betting would have escalated the same with a third person in the pot

I have seen him play like 1 hand in the past 20 minutes or so...

Guess that is the smart way to go, let the table thin itself a bit.

Any known players at this table? demonseed14 sounds familiar

damn, out in 19th when my flopped top pair meets a flopped straight.
sucks man...I hate getting so damn close and winning a small prize....good run man.
Yeah. I was taking my shot at #1, though, like you said. No regrets, although I would love for one of the two people all in at the other tables to have lost instead of both winning.

If you win the seat, will you count that towards your overall winnings?
Well if it did, then if I went to the event and lost, then I'd have to count that loss as -$25,000, right? Because since I wouldn't have any addittional money, I couldn't just count it as $25K won. So yeah, I guess I'll count it, but then I'll have to take it away in a week if I don't get in the money at the event. Damn, I hope I win this....

VERY IMPORTANT:

If you are going to play in satellites to any live tournament, you need to know the rules and regulations. For instance:

You can't sell or transfer a seat that you win, and you can't exchange it for cash or W$.

You will have to wear PokerStars logo-wear throughout the event.

If you intend to play in a satellite that directly awards a seat in a live event, you must be old enough to play in that live event.

it should
I would - since I think you could sell that to someone?
you can't do that. Stars won't allow it.
Interesting, I know you used to be able to sell your Stars bucks (tourneys you qualified via satellite), I guess external tourneys are different.
It specifically says so when you sign up for this one (and the one at Foxwoods, etc). Sometimes they'll let you take 1/2 cash, 1/2 prizes if you win twice. Usually you can sell online stuff for $T or $W, though.

might be a dumb question but can the players chat if they wanted to? Or do they disable chat at final tables for everyone for these big events?

how is your HU game? I played in a few mini-tourneys tonight and realized how much work mine needed.
A few months ago I entered a series of $1000 and $5000 heads up matches on Stars. I knew that I was outclassed, especially at the $5000, but I just wanted to improve my game. I think I learned a lot. Obviously its tough to be great heads up since it doesn't come up a lot, but I think that I'd be favored over at least 90% of the people you see in MTTs in heads up play if we had even stacks.

If you win it again, you get the cash.

Chat is turned off...weird- I didn't even know that before you mentioned it.

wow, the big stack just disconnected. He is directly to my left too!....it would be so amazing if he didn't come back(but man would that suck for him).
