I've decided to stop the quest. I'm stopping because with the World Series of Poker coming up soon, absolutely imperative for me to start winning money, and the only way I can sure of doing that is by dropping down to stakes that will most likely not enable me to meet the $100K goal(but they will provide a much more steady and safer income). Looking at the
lineup I'm going to need around $35,000 to enter all of the events that I wish to enter. At my current bankroll, I could not afford to lose that much.
I have enjoyed the discussion that I've encountered through this blog tremendously both on FBGs, Myspace, and via PMs. I won money, so I don't look at it as a total failure. However, it is demanding to have to comment and post hands as I go each day. It keeps me from playing as many tables as I can. Right now, I think I'm going to drop down to much easier levels and play 8-10 tables at time. Most probably I'll play $3/6 NLHE ring games and $215 STTs. Addittionally, I'll still enter MTTs on a regular basis(I still could easily make the $100K in the desired time should I score big in one of these, which would be quite ironic).
Furthemore, I'll continue to post different poker hands, thoughts, and analysis here. And if I'm deep in a MTT, I'll most likely post about it here. I appriciate all of the thoughts and support throughout this. If I would be fortunate enough to win money at the WSOP, then I would definitely consider doing it again.
