Of course not. Onslaughts>poker imo.How has this poker success affected your Onslaught game?
Thanks.getting pretty good pot odds, up against AK/AQ enough to possibly make it worthwhile....not saying I agree with the call, but its not an insta-fold either imo. Chad is really aggressive and will definitely play to win too btw.
I've found similar results too at around $15-30 buy in games on FTP as well. I've find the tournament play weaker on FTP, those players seem to be much more agressive and I'd guess the variance is higher because of that and you get a lot more bad beats which mini-tilts me often.OPRed villian from that hand and hes the best kind of opponent: A guy who was a small stakes player and hit a big tourney score and is now jumping into the big tourneys....God thats great to see.Btw, I mentioned to Eddie a while ago that I seem to run great at Stars and horrible at FT, and thats continued time and time again over the past few months. Just seems crazy to me. Sample size is pretty large too.
ummmm 6 out of 20 now?? nice week bro!! ETA.....my bad....eyes caught the wrong player in resultsin the money(27 left) in the $109rebuy now, but I'm a fairly short stack
As many as I need, although I'll usually not rebuy in the last 15 minutes just because it makes little sense to rebuy for 3000 chips when the average stack is now 6000+. Usually I just use the standard buy in+immediate rebuy+add on for 3. Obviously sometimes 5 if I get stacked. 7 is extremely rare...honestly can't remember the last time I spent 7 buy ins, although I do remember one PLO $50rebuy in which I spent something ridiculous like 11(and still didn't cash).Only tourney left for tonight is the $320, I'm currently 39/112 and it starts paying at 90.Generally, how many rebuys do you allow yourself?in the money(27 left) in the $109rebuy now, but I'm a fairly short stack
GL AF, make it 4 in 2 days.. gotta go to bed.in the money in the $320 now...at least $574, 90 left

I'm not a fan of the strategy, and I think 5-7 ON AVERAGE is way too high. I think your average should be at most 3.5, but I understand that I play a tighter style than most.I chopped in two small stakes rebuy tournaments, where the rebuys were only $20. My strategy was to get as much cash on the table as possible. I would generally go all in with any pocket pair, flopped pair or two high cards for the first fifteen minutes. I'd either get lucky and double or triple up, then lock down, or just keep going into the wallet. This tends to have a snowball effect because you'll get called by anyone at the table and it tends to loosen up the game in general. I played this way because it was fun as hell. Theoretically, your table should have an advantage if you can get far more chips in play versus others. I'd often buy 10-15 rebuys in the first 30 minutes with the goal of having a stack of at least 4X the buyin. Sometimes it worked. I remember once I spent about $240 on rebuys and then got moved right before the break -- just after I rebought. I probably averaged 8 rebuys. Although I got to two final tables this way out of maybe twelve of these, I'd wager that I was close to break even overall. I guess the question would be how and where the math breaks down. If you're just concerned with trying to final table and win an individual tournament, I'd say just get cash on the table. Negreanu has bought like 20 rebuys at time. But I'm just wondering where the long-term break even point is. Sounds reasonable that this would be above the minimum but less than maybe eight. I'd love to read a real study of this. Because the more money you spend, the more your chances of obtaining an impressive stack before the break, which must translate to an edge... But where that edge becomes -EV is interesting. Give your success of late, I'll just assume that 5-7 is a healthy range. As many as I need, although I'll usually not rebuy in the last 15 minutes just because it makes little sense to rebuy for 3000 chips when the average stack is now 6000+. yea, they shot it down pretty quicklySo I take it the quest to get your user name changed failed.

unreal. keep it up assaniand we're in the money in the $109rebuy, making it an 8 tourney cash streak with 3(and maybe 4 or 5) final tables!
how much are we winning?and we're in the money in the $109rebuy, making it an 8 tourney cash streak with 3(and maybe 4 or 5) final tables!

the $109 didn't pay much. Small field today in the $109rebuy too, so 1st is only $14K for that(compared to $34K in the one I chopped the other day).how much are we winning?and we're in the money in the $109rebuy, making it an 8 tourney cash streak with 3(and maybe 4 or 5) final tables!![]()
