Assuming McGahee goes to Baltimore (1 Viewer)

Yea, Lewis can show him the ins and outs of negotiating a good coke deal.

I would not want either RB around my prized rookie.

If the Browns are dead set on drafting AD, I honestly would not try to acquire any high price FA RB, even if it's only for a year.

Maybe they are set on AD and are doing this as insurance in case AD goes top 2, in which case they may add a 2nd/3rd tier rookie RB. I could see Lewis being worthy of a one year deal in that case since this is a must win season for Crennell.

LoL @ the idea that Jamal Lewis will be a mentor. For as much as this guy sucked last season he STILL always #####ed about how he needs 20-25 carries to get going. I think he's actually the kind of guy you DON'T want around a young Adrian Peterson.

Lewis can show a young AD how to pound 6 cheeseburgers back in the 10 minute car-ride to practise.

The Saints drafted Bush with Deuce freaking' McCallister on the roster. Ditto that for the Bears w/ Benson and Jones. Same with the Patriots with Maroney (Dillon) and the Panthers with Foster (Williams).

The days of "this is our guy, he's carrying the rock 70% of the time!" are over in most towns. I don't think Jamal Lewis or Tatum Bell or Lamont Jordan or Ahman Green are going to stop those teams from taking a talented runner like AP if that is who they think will best improve their team.
