My dynasty contract league has an auction each offseason. Typically we have used a chat room and taken turns calling one player for auction at a time. However, this year it is looking more and more like I wont be able to organize all the owners together at the same time like we have in the past. I'm looking for alternative options. I think I've seen some people use message boards for auctions where multiple players could be up for bid at once and the auction lasts over the course of a couple days or weeks. Has this worked for anyone in the past? I have a hard time seeing how to organize it so everyone stays under their salary cap.

Use fantasy auctioneer or MFL.

I've only used fantasy auctioneer once but I thought everyone had to be in the auction room at the same time. Do they have other software available?

I am running a league on MFL this year with an auction draft. Can someone with experience explain how exactly this works? I do not see a setting for how players are initiated. Can an owner only initiate one player auction at a time? Ex: In a 10 man league, there will only be a maximum 10 player auctions happening at once? Can you limit the numbers of initiated player auctions per owner? Is there a way to set the order in which owners can initiate?TIA

I play in a 16 team auction salary cap league on MFL. I'm not the commish but what we do is have everyone nominate 1 player until he has been won. But if the person bid has been raised then the 24 hour timer gets reset and the new owner has the bid on the player. You can put out as many players as you like I believe but we keep it to 1 and then 2 at a time later in the auction.

You should be able to get your answer here, but if you don't, check the MFL support boards. They have most questions already answered, and if not, generally are great about answering your query. One question I can answer is that, yes, teams can initiate more than one auction.
