Brandon Marshall was sitting in front of his locker at the Broncos’ practice facility in Dove Valley last week when I asked him how he likes his nickname.

"Baby T.O.?" he said, smiling. "It’s OK. He’s a great athlete and he’s one of the best receivers to ever play the game, so if that’s what they want to call me, they can call me that, but I’m definitely going to make my own name in this NFL, starting this Sunday."

I'm really liking what I'm seeing from Marshall early on. Thank you Bloom and Chaos Commish for shining the light on this budding superstar

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I have liked Brandon Marshall since he started to appear on Culter's passing list last year. When I made him my first pick of the keeper rounds, I got a who in the hell is that? I dont like the nickname though...I wouldnt want any affilation with that punk if I were him.

Local coverage switched to the Denver / Oak game right around the time Sebastian was lining up for his first try. Brandon Marshall's catch and run that set them up at the three for the game winning field goal was very impressive. Great body control and elusive for a guy his size. I was impressed.

I think he really is thankful. Throwing a little humor into the mix is always fun.

Audible listeners know the story. Bloom was at RCMH during the 2006 NFL Draft. The Broncos had just selected Brandon, and Bloom let out a yelp that will go down in FBG lore. He then ran to Adam Schefter and excitedly told Adam how the Broncos had gotten the steal of the draft. Adam told him to take a deep breath! That's why we get

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Brandon Marshall has caught virtually everything thrown in his direction so far this year and he always does a great job fighting for the extra yards.

I have also been impressed with his willing to block and how good he is at it, not that any of his fantasy owners care :goodposting:

Crap, I am really screwing this thread up. :headbang:
You. Hell you're not guilty.BTW, did anyone see the pass interference call on Marshall that negated the touchdown? I stepped away to check the grill and walked in as the penalty was called. Blatant? Close? Was it something a more veteran receiver would have gotten away with, or was it a no-brainer?

Pretty blatant. Arm extended. He will refine the technique in time. He really didn't need to 'move the guy out of the way' since he was coming back for the pass. He laughed as the penalty was called so he knew it. Not sure if a vet would have gotten away with it. Doubtful.
