Bad, bad teams (1 Viewer)

I am not going back to research this because I am too lazy and really don't care that much. With that said, I can't remember there ever being a year with so many just plain bad teams. After the Cardinals, the rest of the NFC West is horrid, all sitting at 2-7.

In the AFC, you have 2 teams worse than the Raiders. KC, Cincy, and OAK have 4 wins combined. As stated earlier, St. Louis, San Fran, and Seattle will have the same amount of total wins as the Cardinals after Monday night. Then there is Detroit, who, even with all the other bad teams this year, may be in a league of their own with how bad they are.

Detroit 0-9

KC 1-8

Cincy 1-8

Seattle 2-7

St. Louis 2-7

San Fran 2-7

Oakland 2-7

10 wins combined from those teams. Anybody want to try and guess the draft order? Might as well throw Cleveland and Houston in your guesses too as they are only one win up and could slip into this group before seasons end.

Cleveland has at least been competitive lately and the switch to Quinn may be a positive. Other than that, I think you're right about the abundance of really really bad teams this year. Also, not that it makes a difference but Seattle's play is mostly due to injuries.

I commented on this awhile back in a posting, but focused on how this really skews all of Fantasy Football by making matchups very important.

You can pretty much count on a fantasy bonanza against KC, STL, etc. Much more so in years past.

So a mediocre team can even grab matchup guys off the wire and win. Or, you are totally hosted when you play a team starting the TEN RBs when TEN plays KC. (Or TJones against STL??!!)

Really bizarre.

It's sad that as a Niner Fan, I think we might be the worst team out of the terrible threesome in the NFC West.
