Baltimore Ravens Defense (1 Viewer)

Is this unit worth hanging onto for fantasy purposes? They just got shellacked by the Broncos and have the Browns and Texans up next.

I say yes if you are in a league with deep rosters. In leagues with shallow rosters I would just stream defenses rather than hold onto Balt until their defense gels.

But I have no doubt that at some point this season this will be a top 5 unit. Too much talent not to.

Yes?

If you got them as your only outfit, I assume you didn't figure the season opener at the revenge-seeking Broncos, newly loaded with crazy offensive talent, was going to be a stellar one for them.

If you got them as part of a committee, I assume you benched them, because who are you benching them against, if not that team?

They'll be more than fine. They're aggressive and have great edge rushers. Harbaugh will settle them down.

this some how I have the ravens defense in 3 of my 8 leagues.

they were benched in (pats/steelers) and the other one they got me 4 points. not great but this league once you give up more than like 14 points all your relying on is ints and sacks

agree with the last point, suggs, and dumervil will get their sacks and turnovers. webb and smith will be fine at the corners.

Elam and Brown will start making plays

I drafted them as my only unit, but I cut Hillman and added the Colts for this week. We have a short bench, so trying up two roster spots on defense is tough because you'd like some flexibility to add the Marlon Browns of the world.

I think I'll hold until the next week and re-evaluate.

This is pretty much my thinking as of now.

Drafted BAL late as my only unit, then picked up TB to play vs the Jets this week.

Ravens always have a solid defense. They seemed to have replenished some talent and they're consistently well coached.

Last night was the most points they've ever surrendered, to one of the GOAT QB's, bloodthirsty for revenge.

I'm thinking fluke. I'll be giving them another week or two to right the ship.

Last night was a weird game. The Ravens basically abandoned the run way too early and their defense was gassed. You could see it on their defenses face.

They went 3 and out what? 3 series in a row against Payton Manning. Of course they were going to get screwed.

One horrendous performance.

One pretty good performance vs a possibly poor (again) CLE offense that maybe many were expecting more out of this year.
