Ray Flowers has one for hitters, but it's not quite as polished. Reminds me of the blurbs you read in Shandler's Forecaster: linkInterestingly, Flowers has the baseballguys.com domain. I wonder if he hangs out here at all? Thanks for the link! Does he do a similar analysis for hitters?
You would have to think so. The value of that name is almost solely tied to this website, IMO. Which is why I've always thought it a rather curious business decision not to take this cash cow to another sport, even if this site's owners don't have an interest in said sport. Plenty of knowledgeable guys available to contract it out.Interestingly, Flowers has the baseballguys.com domain. I wonder if he hangs out here at all?

Hate to agree with finless (could be the tequila), but meh. Most of this stuff is regurgitated fangraphs info.I just browsed the mixed league rankings.....atrocious.
Hate to agree with finless (could be the tequila), but meh. Most of this stuff is regurgitated fangraphs info. What's your beef, man? Any chance you get you run your mouth about me. Don't really get it. Can't say that I've had a bad thing to say about anyone on the boards....okay maybe 2 posters. So, yeah, what's the problem?I just browsed the mixed league rankings.....atrocious.

Like everyone else, he's had hits and misses. He predicted Holland and McDonald to really bust out. Neither has been good, although McDonald's last couple of starts are promising.Still, overall a fantastic sheet/guide. As a multiple Shields owner, I owe quite a bit to this guy. This guy absolutely nailed his top 3 under rated guys this year so far.Nolasco, Shields and Scott Baker.Shields has been masterful, Nolasco has been SOLID for where he was drafted, Baker has been good. I grabbed them in all my leagues and it's paid off. Thanks for posting eephus
I wish him luck monetizing his information. I personally thought the format of his 2011 guide was better than 2012.http://paulsporer.com/2013-starting-pitcher-guide-announcement/I had a lot of success using this guide in 2011 (Shields and Bumgarner come top of mind). Was wondering if anyone has paid for the 2013 version? It's only $12, so I may grab it.
He's going to need to get a more professional approach if he's going to be charging. Paying customers aren't going to love the "pushbacks" that he seems to have every year. Just set a target date you can make and then follow through.Announced yesterday that the 2013 guide release was pushed back from yesterday to the 8th.

Maybe scale it back in favor of an earlier release.Announced yesterday that the 2013 guide release was pushed back from yesterday to the 8th.
