Where's Pat Patriot with his -300 Yankees series bet in rd 1? I can't wait until the Indians go to NY in gms 3 and 4. Sucks I'm a Red Sox fan and feel they're overrated as well. CC +105 in game 1 looks good to me.

Rockies for me. This team is rolling - every pitcher is available for both teams, not as big of a starting pitcher disadvantage because of this one game playoff.

Cleveland has been bet down a lot, I remember seeing +190 yesterday. Likely still +EV though, but a better price was available earlier.

They haven't decided between Westbrook and Byrd. ESPN said Clemens is scheduled for Game 3 for the Yankees.

I'm a huge Yankee fan, but they are a flawed team...
Shaky middle relief, not great record against lefties, not great record away from Yankee Stadium...
I wouldn't be surprised if either team won, and getting +170 here for Cleveland is great value

Likely some sort of a combo of the two pitchers.
A lot of value in Cleveland obviously...Probably put something small on them and put a nice chunk on the Cubs.

Am I missing something with Colorado? More specifically, this series with the Phils. To me, this team looks good, and they are obviously showing it.

I'll stick to Central Florida -3.5 for 5 BIG MarshallPlan units. No baseball plays for me.
At first, I liked Colorado too. My book has them at +120 to win the series. But, Philly has been nearly as hot as Colorado coming down the stretch....and that was without Hamels for the most part. Still looks like about a toss up to me, but with the Phillies having home field, I want more than +120 to hit the Rocks
Agreed... can't find a side to play on this series. If I had to take a side, it would be Philly. Already took the Cubs to win the series with Zona. But I like Zonas chances tonight.

Just added Philly to win their series. And took Clev for tomorrow night. Cleveland gives you good value in the series but I can't see them doing it.

The difference in the moneyline. For instance, your CLE/NY line has a $.30 take-back. Don't have a CLE/NY line yet so I'll compare it with the ANA/BOS line I have, which is -175, take-back +155 -- $.20.Thanks.

Good start to the playoffs. I did lean Under in this Sox game but passed, not strong enough to play it. Indians series' prices are way too low now to even think about playing them, IMO. +158 is the best I can get. I'd just play them in individual gms. DBacks series wagers look solid - +120 and better is the way to go. I am going to likely play some DBacks/Over tonight even though I have them at +1450 to win it all. Both prices are getting better and better as I type this, I'll likely wager at gametime. GL.

MP, just out of curiousity, why would you be all about the over and then suddenly decide you don't like the price and lean under? I can see price moves making you stray from one side (or total), but to completely switch to the other? Is that a baseball thing?

Just a baseball thing here Giants. Don't pay much attention to the ways I gamble, it's unusual for most. Funny thing is that Over numbers popped back up and I'm now on the Over. Under 7' -101 - smallOver 7' +105 and +106 - little bit biggerMini-scalp but it's not really what I intended. I have a small over lean, but a bigger DBacks lean. I didn't intend to do much with this game but with these good numbers I couldn't resist. DBacks -108 and -111 are bigger plays of mine. GL.

They started off as dogs and are now laying a ton. Heck, you could have likely laid something like -120 earlier today before all the gm 1 Cub steam came in. Incorrect side, IMO. Good luck with this bet, but I could never make it.
