i would've never guessed ted williams simply b/c he started every AB 0-1 (unless the pitcher was an idiot). that makes it even more impressive that he didn't strikeout much.i'll guess bonds for #2

I didn't look at stats, I did review the 500 list. Moyer was a layup, 45 year old junkballer, he'll be chasing down Robin Roberts soon enough. Once I saw Ott, I recalled him not K'ing much. Bring on the threepeat!
